Oh well!

I DO like that.....looks MUCH nicer (IMHO) than this:

PS - the body for this is still at Lakland (saw it the other day) but the neck (sweet playing neck - one of the best!!!) and all of the hardware was sent to Mr. Clayton with a bare body for him to have finished "to his requirements"....

That is UBER cool. It's funny, I actually had Pat (Wilkins) quote me a price on a similar refinish of my DJ5 a couple months ago. I REALLY want to do it (or in similar flake silver), but I'm a single bass household at the moment.

It was "OK"....the finish was GREAT I just thought it was a little too flashy for me...however, I did tell Dan that if Mr. Clayton did not want it, I would consider ordering it up that way - because of the way it played.....however, since the neck etal are gone and I am broke, that is not going to happen...

Wish I had a better one.....do not have one....sorry!

Jauqo might as i beleive he took this picture....

teh bosy was not bad....but the neck was awesome!!! Abalone blocks and all.....very smooth neck....one of THE BEST Laklands I have ever played....I hear that Carl and Brian said this one was special as well...
And what's your excuse early this afternoon? Goin' a little heavy at communion?:p

a voice whispers from the distance... -=leave the bart... leave the bart...=-

Barts are great, as are the Chis..... just two totally different flavors. I would put the Chi under the MM cover so you can switch back later if you want. Plus, I like the MM look on THAT particular bass. While Markus' 44-07 looks great w/ the Chis though. Just my opinion, it's all about what pleases Ferg :).

went to church last night....just bad typing skills......sorry mr. editor!!!
Geesh!!
Hehe! If I got serious about editing posts, you and Markus would want to kill me.:D

OH--I got the new LOG shirt after renewing, and it's awesome, folks!:hyper: Thanks for sending it, Doug, and thanks again to Markus for doing a great job designing it!

1) threats threats!!! (LOL!)

2) great!!! glad you got it!!!

anyone who renewed recently (except if you ordered a small or medium shirt) should have their packets soon....smalls/mediums will go out this week (had to do a "special order")....so if you renewed and do not get a shirt soon let me know.....hope I do not miss anyone...

Same here: I loathe Merlot. I'm good with a nice Shiraz, A Pinot Noir or maybe a gamay noir... or a wicked single-malt.

For gin, I'm pretty much exclusively a Bombay Sapphire guy.

I guess that's why an Ibanez or Peavey bass ain't good enough for me...

here here!!!

I agree.....I am a Bombay Sapphire guy for matrtinis but a Tanqueray guy for tang and tonic...
