OK, I'm not gonna be Markus and keep everyone in suspense. It was a very difficult choice. Part of me wanted to make it ABSOLUTELY my bass, and do it like this...

But in the end, I took a couple of things into consideration. I wanted a P Bass for that traditional rock sound and feel, PLUS it's the frikkin' BG5 Prototype, and I would probably be excommunicated if I did anything deemed obnoxious to it.
So in the end, I ALMOST went here with it....

Now when I get my JO5, break out the shades, because the flake is ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!!!
i'll say it again, that has to be the most perfect quilt i've ever seen.

btw...the dots on the US rosewood boards always look more vintage for some reason.
