I have a sunburst 44-02 coming and was wondering if anyone has any pics of a sunburst 44- 02/01 with pickguard either tort, black or white. I have a tort guard I might put on but curious how either a black or parchment guard might look.

IM a very stupid and very sad boy,

i just boxed up my decade for shipping:bawl:

if i had put the JO flats back on a day earlier, i would have never sold that bass:(

Now the question, and maybe you guys can help me decide.

1. do i call leo, and order the awesome U.S. Glaub-sonic that ive wanted
and the reason i sold the decade(for down payment)
2. call leo, and see if they have a black and maple skyline glaub, and have them put the humbucking chi in that, for an instant fix and save some dough????

Stick with your guns, go custom and go US!!!!

WOW

lol...i'll have to think about when i got the 55-02...its only been in the past 8 months, give or take, so yeah...i'm a lakland neeb. and look at that...less than a year and i'm already graduating to a 55-94. :hyper:

HAH, I jumped straight in w/ a 55-94.

I knew I wanted 35" scale from playing Peavey Cirrus basses (still love their 6ers :ninja:), and I knew I wanted a MM pup's flava :D. But, I've never meshed well w/ single pup basses. So, after a little looking around on ebay I discovered Lakland's 55s. Researched their history and customer satisfaction, sold some gear, and talked an ebay seller into meeting me in Nashville for a cash deal. I was confident I'd be pleased, I had no idea I'd be finding my true love!! The rest is history :D........ we lived happily ever after (of course, the relationship is not monogomous, hehehe).
