Oh how i love bass!

Hi every one!

So my first post here. I am happy to finally sign up to this amazing forum.
I've been reading posts and threads here a while now and when I picked up the bass for real (and not just when needed) I decided to dive in head first.

I own two basses:
Squier Jazz Bass
Hohner the Jack

My main inspirations as far as players go is:
Tim Commerford
This guy has it all!


Well I'll be looking forward to try and contribute to this great forum

Thank you all for your warm welcome
You know I realised some year ago that I had shifted my listening and attention from guitar to bass when listening to music.
I am mainly a guitar player myself, however I've allways been more fond of rhythm than lead and the interaction between the instruments in the backline.
And as said I realised some year ago that it is the bass player that draws my attention mostly.
Listening to bass players who can play with the drums and at the same time back the guitar while also contributing with their own feel and melody...
I mean, to me, that is the true star of the show!
