Oh Yes Another Silent Practice Set Up Question. What Direction Should I Go In?

Hold the mode button and press the rhythm button (or maybe that's the other way around, don't quite remember - but it's the same process to switch between volume and tempo) to switch between banks. It has 3 banks of 3, so nine beats overall.

Edit: My vote here goes to the Amplug, especially at its price point. You'll also have to have a 1/8" cable from your computer's headphone out into the Amplug. You could probably use this at the end of your pedalboard if you have a long enough cable to the headphones you'll be wearing, and if you use the low gain setting on the Amplug (bass model).

There are definitely other options.....but this would probably do the trick for what you need, and it's inexpensive enough that you could buy three for the price of anything else on here.

I've owned this thing for FIVE YEARS and didn't realize that! :roflmao: I just accessed the other rhythms on my AmPlug... It's like a brave new world! Thanks!

I just purchased a Motu M2 audio interface. Hopefully the mail man will deliver it in a few days. Kind of excited, there wasn't many reviews out yet as it's a relatively new product, fingers are crossed that it all works out.

It's really good. I got an M4 (in addition to other interfaces I use)
The Motu M has some great metering, handy useful controls, and good support from a company with a solid reputation.
There's really no audible difference between interfaces these days. The Motu M series doesn't lack anything. The metering alone makes this a great interface.

They are what they are...a cheaply made accessory that doesn't last long. It has its uses but its only 40 bucks.

Walked a step away from the tablet I was plugged into to set my bass down and it tugged on the aux wire plugged into the Amplug & broke it open. This is my third and last one for sure. They are made of very cheap plastic and don't hold up

+1 for the audio interface and PC. I recently got the Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd gen) and have it fed with the DI of my 700RB and all my effects, works great.

When I can't be stuffed with all the cables I go for the Vox Amplug bass v2, great little unit and personally I really dig the tone!

Don't blame you there. I'm still on my first one but have since set it aside and I now use a Zoom B3n for headphone practice. Really is a much better solution but I was previously keeping the Zoom bagged up ready to go to band rehearsal. Unfortunately band rehearsal isn't so much an issue right now. :(
