Hi,

Sounds good. I would recommend working on the left hand. I see alot of wasted movement, both from where you are playing the notes/shifting and also the amount of movement/distance the individual fingers are travelling above the string after you play the note. The left hand is responsible for the time as much as the right hand is. I think focussing on the left hand positioning/movement and articulation will help this settle down.

I've been learning bass for 32 years and was even in a band 7 years before that at 16 learning my first bass licks on a guitar 'cause we didn't have a bass.

I wish I was as accomplished at 16 as you are, and obviously you play songs that you like and I suppose want to impress people with, so a bit of grandfatherly advice:

1. Relax.

2. It doesn't hurt to learn simple things.

3. Listen to some groove players like Jamerson and Dunn.
