Aggie DB751 no comment needed. That is if I have a choice. The further you move up there will be a backline and you may or may not have a say so. You have to be able to get your tone regardless. The higher you go the more important your axe becomes versus the rig.

I've got a superbassman and a rumble 500 heads and a 610 Neo fender cab, when I dial in a tone I like on the sb300, then swap it for the rumble I can dial in the same tone, ....when I'm running late for band practice and I'm tired after work I grab the rumble, but if recording or a good gig I make the effort to take the sb

I've been using an 800rb lately because it sounds great and it's a lot more reliable than my V4, but literally nothing sounds better, especially for distorted bass, than an all tube head and a ton of speakers.

If I had somebodies to carry it? No question, but I’d want my 1995 Trace Elliot V-Type back, because she sounded fantastic. Give me two 1248 cabinets with that, as well, since someone else is carrying. 220 Watts was never not enough for me through a 4x12.

But, I also really love solid-state. I miss my SWR Interstellar Overdrive and Power 750 rig, too. All that shiny chrome…

But now, I’m thrilled with my Mesa Walkabout Scout 12 combo, which I can pick up with one hand.

Super Bassman. I love that Fender clean tube tone. All the extras that come with it are just icing. I have the Bassman 100T that gets most of my gigs and a Bassman 500 I use for outdoor gigs and rehearsals and several class D's too. But the SB300 is the Bees Knees.

There are a bunch of great amps there. I wouldn't own any of them, simply because none of them do what I am looking for. But, I could be really happy with several of those on the backline. The Fender and Mesa amps are very nice. If I had to choose from that list, it would be the SVT. I like that amp, and for me there is a lot more going on with the SVT than the tubes. Ampeg simply got the voicing right. Great amp.

My big rig is a Demeter VTBP-201 into a Crest ProLite 3.0. I know, it's Class D. Whatever. It slams. I've had it right next to the SVT, and it actually out powers the SVT; which doesn't mean a whole lot, because power without tone is useless. Fortunately the Dem does all of that. In fact, not all that much difference between those two rigs running clean; but, the Dem is just my preference with my more Jazz Bass type of instruments. And, I like it CLEAN. If I were more oriented at the P with some distortion, I could get all over the SVT.
