Ok I need help on control knob question

I have a 1992 Ibanez SR800 The concentric tone knobs are a little iffy, but I am going to let it ride that way for a while anyway.

The problem is the previous owner lost the top knob for one of the control pots. I have done a quick search for control knobs, and Ibanez has some for 20 plus S and H. I have found others for less of course. My question is what size are the shafts that this bass has? I didn't really realize that I would be looking for different size knob interior diameter.

any help would be appreciated. Also, if you have a place you order this stuff from that you trust in case I can't find them within driving distance.

It would be best for you to measure, rather than rely on internet speculation. You can easily determine exactly what size shafts you have.

Ibanez typically uses 8mm but why not measure the shaft with a caliper or the internal diameter of the knob where it fits onto the shaft?

I found a ruler and used to get my best guess measurement. I am going with 6mm top and 8 mm bottom measurements for the concentric knob.

That sounds right for an Asian made bass
