OK went shopping but cnat decide

So I went to GC, ATL Bass Gallery, and a little store in Gville. Tried a Markbass LMIII, GK MB500, GB Shuttle 6.0, TC classic 450 and the winner of these was by far to me was the Gallien Krueger MB 500, I ust dig the eq, contour and boost mod. Could get a good sound set flat or with slight tweeks for my playing style.... ok on to what I cant decide on and why.

SO i played a Bergantino HT112ER, all I have to say is wow but 699 is a little steep for me right now as Im still trying to sell off some gear and I got a little one on the way. Aguilar GS didnt care for it, MB NY112 really didnt like it, TC 112 just sounded weird to me. All in all though I couldnt find a GK neo 112 to play through, of course the guy at ATL BG was not in favor but hey would you wanna sell a 299 or 699 $ cab.

So can someone tell me how close a GK 112 comes to the sound of the Berg HT112er? Im also still considering Avatar 112 non neo, cant find one of them to play either, which is understandable. So whats the opinions?

Just wish I couldve found on to play thru. I want smooth crisp highs nothing harsh sounding like my current set up. I play mostly slap. How do the GK;s compare to the DB112s you have in your profile?

The GKs are a lot clearer and more transparent IME. I know that's a dumb way to try to describe it, but they match well to the inherent EQ of the GK heads and give you a quick response and clean tones without sounding harsh or brittle.

My DB cab is way more mid focused. Not a slap cab, but I don't ever play slap.

The GS line of Aguilar cabs is more suited to that mid-scoop I've always associated with a slap EQ. The mids can be dialed back with the DB cabs but they're strong to start with.

How does the GK size up to the bergantino and Im not worried about build quality or any of the booteeky stuff associated with the Berg, just a sound comparison. I could save a heck of alot going with GK instead of the berg or aggy.

Ill be using an SVT III pro until I can get rid of it or if it sounds good not get rid of it. Have you ever played an ampeg through the GK 112?

I dont really care for the Hartke tweeters. I noticed you use an Aguilar DB212, how would you compare that cab to the GK cabs. I really dig Paul Turners sound from Jamiroquai nice fat round punchy as hell.

Man I wish the only dealer in georgia would carry the cabs. He acted like he refuses to carry them due the fact that he had Bergantino and Genz Benz stuff. Theres not another dealer around in this state for aguilar. I may just try to find a used Db112. Im literally making my self sick trying to figure this out. I have a bit of OCD/Information sickness. The bergantino sounded great with the GK MB 500 set flat. I used to scoop out the mids for my slap sound but am now finding them useful to get a nick thick thump on the lower strings...

Do the tweeter on the db's make the high end ummm Sparkle or pop... I mean there not muted in any way are they?

by theway thanks for taking time to discuss this with me, seems like most on here just offer there opinion and thats it. All the lingo used to describe most of the "sound" associated with cabs seems to get lost on me.

This is probably where I'm not going to be as helpful. I turn the tweeters off in every cab I use. The tweeter in the DB 212 is about as natural sounding as I can imagine a tweeter to be, but I just don't like those higher frequencies in my tone.

I wouldn't say they're muted, but from my perspective I would want them to be.
