Thanks. I was quite pleased with how that wiring scheme turned out with a passive MM humbucker. One little note that isn't clear in the write-up: the .001 uF loading capacitor is in parallel to the signal. One end is connected to the hot wire where it meets a volume pot lug; the other end is connected to ground. (It doesn't really matter where the loading cap goes in the signal path; the goal is just to get it relatively close to the pickup, before any pots.) It's a tiny but worthwhile mod, regardless of what your final (passive) circuit looks like.
