Looking at this and my electronics background as a ham, I assuming the top row is our series which connects white and red together for series link, and the bottom is the parallel hooking our hot to hot and ground to ground and then out. Really appreciate the help on this.

Thanks. I was quite pleased with how that wiring scheme turned out with a passive MM humbucker. One little note that isn't clear in the write-up: the .001 uF loading capacitor is in parallel to the signal. One end is connected to the hot wire where it meets a volume pot lug; the other end is connected to ground. (It doesn't really matter where the loading cap goes in the signal path; the goal is just to get it relatively close to the pickup, before any pots.) It's a tiny but worthwhile mod, regardless of what your final (passive) circuit looks like.
