Just remember the best bass for metal is,

Jaco only needed 4 strings

A Precision with flats and Tort is all you need.

Class D watts are less than Tube watts.

Mixing speaker sizes is bad

Welcome to TB from one ol' fart to another. I’m 70 and after a 15 year hiatus from guitar, I picked up the bass guitar 15 years ago. Be careful though, TB causes GAS. I’m up to six basses, two amps, and several pedals that I don’t use. I do play in one group full time and a second group plays about four gigs a year at festivals.
