Hi troops...just found your site..this is great a bunch of knucklehead bass players trading lies! LOL...Seriously..ive been around since rope was invented and Im still learning something new everyday...yesterday I received an invitation from UNCA Asheville to join their staff as an applied bass instructor...So now I need to back up 40 years and think about methodology, techniques, book selections..like Simandle, George Vance, Schwabe....I have 3 new bass students this semester and we are talking full range from classical to thrash..(not really) and I need a few suggestions for good sources of practical upright bass studies for college level students,,,
