I'm putting together a CD (or two or three) to play along with as a warmup, and want just some old school funk/disco - Not music I *love* to listen to per se, but music that is darn fun to play along with...

So I spent too much time last PM at the Itunes store listening to Larry Graham - Why hadn't I been exposed to him before? True, his "best of" album seems to have too many ballads, but just sampling around there are a TON of very cool, very very funky fun tunes! Reminds me of a bit-more-conventional P-funk... So thanks for the tip

Oh, man, how could I have forgotten that gem! Awesome tune, monster groove... There's a lot of cool stuff on that first Jimmy Castor Bunch album too (anyone remember the troglodyte song?)
