Hi, I remember there was a mega thread (sticky) on this site with a recording engineer sharing his experiences and giving great advice about the recording process. I've searched everywhere on this site and Google to no avail. It's been quite awhile since I accessed it. I'm hoping one of you long time members either downloaded a PDF of it (some one did it for the thread) or know where I can find it. Sorry, I don't recall the guys screen name either.
