Anyone ever use a Yamaha 2404 mixer? 24 ch, big as a coffee table... Is it worth buying a used one cheap? What's flexibilty like, and would you use it?

For recording? I think it was meant to be a live sound board.
It was a decent board for it's day but newer boards would have more features, better specs.
I guess it depends on how cheap and what your application is.

Hmm, application would be recording/multitracking. And I've seen it's not to be compared particularly with a Mackie board. Thanks for the input,
