I'm always amazed the timing of threads. About an hour ago I decided instead of an elaborate modification of a Rondo Hadean bass uke into an Olympic White Jaguar style, I would just have it painted, add a tortoise pickguard & truss rod cover, and change the tuners, strap buttons and knobs to chrome, plus La Bella/Gold Tone special short flatwound strings.

I'm planning on changing the pickup on my 2008 AmStd precision and want to get a cream/white pickup cover while I'm at it.
Looking on ebay etc the colors range from white to beige to yellow and it's very hard to decide what will come closest(my bass is posted on page 12)
Any of you Olympic White fanatics got any recommendations?

Just picked this beauty up from Corner Music while visiting NashVegas. Brand new 2015 model under 9lbs.
My Postmodern looks like Olympic White bass but the Shop Floor Traveler states Desert Sand.
Resurrecting this club with my #1 2008 FSR Jazz Bass (nitro) and #2 2014 American Standard P (thin poly). Both were bought used recently and pretty well taken care of. The jazz bass has been a case queen so it's interesting to see the poly p yellow more throughout the years.
