Although I'm slightly disappointed to see it doesn't have an Up/Down sweep option

It doesn't need one. The Start and Stop knobs handle it all. If you want to reverse the sweep, you simply set the Start knob to a higher setting than the Stop knob. Basically, you can fine-tune the range of the sweep AND set its direction using those two knobs.

It's the same idea on the Bass Micro Synth and numerous other pedals with such knobs or sliders.

And the thought of saving money goes right out the window thanks to EHX and new their Q balls. Should have taken that warning at the top of the thread to heart.

But that and the Pog2 look very interesting so hopefully some one here will get it and get bord of it really quickly.

Doubt it can kill the Moog, but it has exp and footswitchable dist! I hope it is a tweakable Bassballs... I am super interested.

Ever since listening to the Atomic Bitchwax I have missed my bassballs. But now that thius thing is coming out, and with so much tweakablity, I might have to save up and get one.

The only complaint I have of my bassballs is the lack of versatility. Hopefully it is now solved.

if the preset push knob/pot they are using is as poor quality as the one they used on my SMMH, you won't want to stomp on it very hard!

But there's no preamp... so maybe an active bass w/ an onboard would serve the purpose?

Yeah- at $99 for it plus the cost of a speaker, you'd likely be better off getting a cheapie practice amp. That pedal will probably be really handy for some guitarists though.

22 watts of solid state. Not super loud I would imagine, definately enough for practice. Thats just speculation until more info is available though.

we all know that ehx uses cheap pots, but that thing is simply not suited to stompbox usage.

I never realized that it was considered standard stompbox usage to stomp on a POT. I personally think that's nuts. I can't believe people are stomping on pots and then getting mad when they break.

ok so we should make it clear that you'll have to bend over to switch or set presets

and even if you don't step on it, it's in a precarious position on the corner of the pedal like that.

I'm sorry to see ehx sticking with this design flaw

Is that how you broke it- you were trying to switch presets using your foot?
