Today I drove my son into Frankfurt for a new speaker cable, (we got him a 2x12 box for christmas.) Anyhoo I was looking around the store (Musik Schmidt) and came across a new Hagstrom 8 string. Now in '83 I had seen a '68 or '69 at Guitar center in Chicago (I grew up in Joliet.) and i thought it was a good idea, but the construction left a bit to be desired, even for $150.00.
But this new HB-8 in transparent cherry was sweet. It had a sticker price of 549. and I would have bought it on the spot if I had the cash.
