Omnibass 25".

It's a simple concept.

I've mixed the idea of the Steinberger Omnibass
and the scale and size of a guitar.

I've started it last week-end with recycled wood.
The sound is good and the playability as well.

But i think it need much reflexions.

This is really great! A few questions:

(1) Did you make the neck yourself?
(2) What kind of pickups are you using?
(3) What is the total length?

(1) yes, and i've made it really chuncky to be close to the upright neck
and also because there's no truss-rod !
The radius is 11".

(2) shadow triple trancuder. But i think i will try K&K twin spot.

(3) the total length is 32".
the total weight is 2,2 lbs.
the scale is 26".

That is very cool! I recently put a set up pickups by jjb electronics on my krappy eub and am very happy with them. About $30 wired to a volume pot and an output jack.
