"Never There" and "Short Skirt, Long Jacket" are/were pretty big hits.

Alright alright so I'm reaching now! :D LOL

Seriouse I never heard another Cake song after Distance, Oh wait is that the video where there asking for peoples opinions of the song? The homeless guy and the chef ect, Is that Cake?
I also never heard the song Superman from IOM. I have been looking for it today on the net and can't find a dowloadable version. I would love to hear that even though I probably heard it a bunch and never relized.

What ever happenned to them anyway? I really liked them. . . Video Killed the Radio Star was a pretty good cover too.
I kinda lost track of PUSA for a while after II, but apparently they broke up after Pure Frosting and reformed a couple years later to release Freaked Out and Small. Haven't heard of another breakup so I assume they're still around and just lying low. I can't seem to find an official website though. However, I did find that Mach V was also a minor hit. So if you include Video...Star (I'm not sure), that makes at least five total

Are you kidding? Ash are pretty big, they've had loads of hits!
I think I'm showing my Americanism here... I knew they were British, guess I forgot they probably hit it big across the pond before getting any attention here. I've never heard another Ash song on the radio besides "Girl From Mars" (which is a great one), but if the rest of their 1977 album is any indication, I'm glad of that. Especially that hidden track...gawd DAMN!!

The only place I have found it available now is on a UK website, for sale as part of a 13-track French CD re-release Invalid Link Removed

It sounds a lot like "Vehicle", with a strong horn head, tight rhythm groove, and powerful vocals.

Did anyone say Sunglasses at Night by Mr. Corey Heart? Or how about Ready To Go by Repulica? My band covers one or two one hitters at most of our original shows, those were the last two. Did Greg Kihn have any other hits besides The Breakup Song (They Don't Write em Like that Anymore)?

Oops, didn't know your age! Sorry... I was 11 so I can recall...

"Jeopardy", if I recall correctly, hit #2 on Billboard in '83 and stayed like 3-5 weeks at the spot. I don't know for sure but I think "Thriller" kept him out of #1.

The song was not as rockin, but it was cool. The video was geeky and creepy at the same time.

Check out Weird Al's parody though...
