Online Sheet Music/Notation

Been out of the scene for quite some time. Educated musician/bassplayer, a lot of experience, just out of the times maybe, for over a decade I would say. Life happens. My sight reading is still great, but my chops are probably at like 40-70% on average compared to what they used to be. Time, Rhythm, Groove, all still there for what matters most, but It'd take some time to get back into the fun stuff...

Regardless...

I need a quick source to find notated or charted music, all in one preferably, so I don't have to learn everything by ear by listening to songs one by one. Top 40's, Pop Music, classic rock, 90's rock, 2000's rock, R&B, whatever... Even simple chord charts would do wonders as I was mostly a jazz guy a while back. Life happens I guess, not looking for judgment. I just don't have the time to listen note for note or song by song and transcribe stuff for whats coming up next week for me... looking for some sources as I'm not up to date on what's available to me. I don't want tablature, as I'm fine with reading notation and charts, but it's alright and always helpful as long as traditional notation is factored in primarily.

It'd be great to see a simple list of resources. If it helps other people as well, that is freakin' awesome. Even if there are tidbits I could pull out from everything, that's awesome as well... Maybe I should just google what I need, but hey, just asking here. :laugh:

Wayback Machine

Adding this here. Lucas Pickford used to have a site up with a few dozen bass solo transcriptions that I used a handful of times, there's some good stuff on there, but his website is defunct... I used the Wayback Archive to track his old site down... Anyone who remembers this site and wishes it were still up, it's right here. Hit or miss on the dates "captured", but thought I'd contribute this tidbit as there's some cool stuff there that's "technically" not available anymore through the actual website.

i remember him & the site very well. he was a pioneer in getting stuff up on the web. this was around the time that chuck sher was becoming well known.
