oops...my amp doesn't have a parallel switch

Hi all,

Bassist here but very non-technical.

I bought a Soundtech 802 power amp for my rack but I thought it had a parallel input switch...it doesn't. I need it and I don't know if I need a splitter or just a radio shack y-cord. Holy crap!!!! I have a gig in 4 hours!!! Old power amp is toast!!! Yikes

A Y-cord will work fine.
The only place a Y won't work is to mix two outputs into one input, DON'T do that.
But to split one out into two in's is just fine.
