Opinion needed on this cab, please.

GC would take it back, but if it's a case of "I don't like it," you eat the shipping cost. And this thing is huge.
So that's the essential risk.

@Marko 1 There's a Yorkville 8x8 cab for sale here and on CL, locally, that is way less money and has been tempting me personally (and no, it's not my cab).
Not sure if that fits what you're after, but we're both in NEO and if I were able to justify buying this, I'd be on it because it seems very tempting. It's no 4x12, but it's local, big, and interesting.

Thanks for that great lead, but I've been looking specifically for a 6x10 or 4x12 (~100-lbs) to fill this imaginary size gap in my cab inventory.

I just want it to cost less than a house in Youngstown, and this just barely squeaks under that. :D

Well, the shipping appears to only be $33:

If that's worth the risk, should it not work out, that's like a month of rent in YT, so not too bad.

btw, check out the bigass 20" high-velocity fan I got for the stage, only $50 with a coupon at Harbor Freight...

It'll blow your hat clean off at 20ft. :cigar:

If $33 is all there is to lose, it's not a terrible risk. If anything, GC is gonna take a harder hit on that shipping, even if they keep your $33.

And should the cab be damaged in some way, you get all your money back. Or even any undisclosed wear can be used to bargain with the shipping fee being returned. I've dealt with that and won every time.

Keep the drummer away from it. They like poking at it with drum sticks...

Then all their sticks have no tips. And they're confused...

On their Facebook page they show one being used as a guitar cab. Personally, I would pass on this one. The Guitar Center in New Orleans that has it set the price which probably means they bought it for $250. If it were a killer kab, would they have priced it low? But, $33 and some hassle picking it up / returning it is all it costs to try it out. That is if they don't cancel the order.

Go for it!
It might be awesome!
Done, will arrive in a few days,

plus grocery shopping and putting it all away. :D

And for those of you already rolling your eyes, I snatched this up, as well...

This baby, matching the main amp that I gig-- very feature-full, 29lbs, 750 watts of solid stage slam, looks to be mint for only $275, WITH A RACK CASE! :bassist:
