I've been looking for a light and powerful set of 115s and finally decided to save a bit and get two Mesa Subway 115s. Then someone mentioned the Ashdown RM 115 Neo 3s. These are $349 versus $1200. I'm playing sludgy rock and use a Tubedrve with built in tube preamp. Question: the ashdowns are lighter and cheaper.. are these good enough, or should I keep saving for the Mesas? Thanks

In case it makes any difference, the Ashdown is rated as 300 watts at 8 ohms, and the Mesa is rated as 400 watts at 8 ohms.
I've never heard the Ashdown so I can't voice an opinion. I've played through the Mesa and it is sublime.

Thanks for reply. Sorry, dumb post. Yah, did some more research and am going to stick to Mesa. I played a Ashdown 610 and it put me on a bit of a Ashdown path... But after reading some reviews, sounds like people have had problems with this cab.
