They sure don't weigh 907g! More like 150 200, I'd guess. Comfort is probably the biggest issue with these headphones. They aren't pillowy, but I don't find them objectionable.

OK, I looked into it again and found some sites listing a weight of 907.2g. The rest states values around 200g. Better.
So now I am torn between the Grado SR80 and the Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs. I guess the big point here is the supra-aural design (Grados) vs. the cirumaural design (AT). And regarding this, it all comes down to trying them out.

Following up on my end, after close to a month of ownership...bottom line: I still love 'em. Great sound across the frequency range with amazing low end. Marginal - and I'm really trying to nitpick here - ambient noise, and no gripes from anyone else in the room while I'm listening to them. Both of these were a pleasant surprise, which makes me love 'em all the more. Definitely an excellent $100 investment...after making sure they're a comfortable fit for you. That was my biggest concern in doing my research, as it really seemed to be a love/hate thing.
Good luck with your decision. Audio-Technica and Sennheiser are excellent as well. I've had a long dislike with earbud type headphones, yet I picked up a Sennheiser set for my iPod that are comfortable and sound incredible. I'm amazed at how many incredible options there are now compared to (granted, many) years ago when I was last in the market.

- $40, sound cancelling, great sounding, very heavy duty too.
The only thing is they are pretty tight. Its a good thing IMO because they aren't all loose and fall off, but some might think differently.
