There are lots of positive reviews with Rondo Music. As for the bass, I think it is a bit of a crap shoot. Although it's possible it might turn out to be just fine. If I'm not mistaken, Rondo has a nice return policy if you are not satisfied.

If fanned frets are what attracts you in the first place, there are other options out there, some of them not as expensive as Dingwall which would be my only choice if I were ever to take the FF route.
As for the Brice...at that price range, I'd expect generic-sounding-electronics that would have to be swapped out immediately and likely some fit and finish imperfections. By the time that gets fixed, you're in the territory of used Ibanez FF basses.
