Orange Terror 500 with a Mesa cab?

I'm looking into getting an Orange Terror 500 because I did some shopping around and found one for $695. I'm just want opinions on how that would sound with my Mesa 2x10 Powerhouse cab. It handles 600 watts and is 8ohms. Or is there something better that I could pair with my Mesa? It would be nice to get a matching Mesa Head but it's a little pricey for my taste.

It'll be fine, but it is, afterall, only a 210. If you need louder, you need more spkrs.

I have a Terror with an Acme Low B2 which seems over whelmed. "500 RMS is ideal" is stated on the Acme web site, but in my real world experience, it cannot handle all of the Terror. Not sure about the Mesa, but I bet a pair of them and the Terror would be killer. The Terror is a great sounding head and most people will say it's conservatively rated at 500.

The Terror should sound good with the Mesa, and I agree it is conservativly rated, it can get real loud for such a little amp.

I have a mesa 2 x12 with an ampeg ph350. I use a sansamp bddi and mxr m87 compressor for my tone but I want to upgrade my head to an orange terror 500 or 1000. From what ive seen in preson and on youtube it seems like the head overdrives very easily and is bass/low mid heavy. If anyone can give some insite I would love it I play metal/hardcore in my band
