Double Bass Orchestral strings for a bright, tight bass

Thanks everyone! I put Kaplan D and G with Flex92 E and A on my bass for now. So far, so good. I like the Flexocors a little more so far, but honestly, they don't sound or play that differently yet, and they work together nicely. Of course, it hasn't even been a full week yet, so we'll see how things go as they break in.

I appreciate everyone's feedback, and I've got a short-list of other strings to try next, too :)

The Originals are totally imbalanced; the G in particular can be piercing and the lows are deep and dead sounding. The A is huge. Primitive is my read on them.

On good basses Flatchrome Orig and Originals are perfectly balanced with a deep sound on the G and a rich bottom on the E.
They were just OK on my Hachez and I did not use the E, but on good English basses it is still a pretty standard setup.
They tend to work much better on old top tier basses and not as well on modern ones IME.
