So I guess I will join, maybe. I am mostly too lazy to join any clubs, or even post anything. But, being in Beaveton and all I guess I should wake up and do something. Been playing bass for 3 years after 40+ years of guitar. Shoulda done it years ago. I aint much of a bassist, but better than I was a guitarist. I suppose I should take a number now or something.

Haha don't I know it. Brian's has selection, but they just love customers there. MusicMakers is nice, but its pretty much exclusively acoustic stuff.

haha yeah they dont have anything in the way of left basses though. well they had a squire. but i stay away from that brand (bad experiences when i started out).

you in any bands right now? im still special and cant figure out where local bands play...

Nope! I actually grew up in Bakerfield, CA... I've had quite a few people ask me if I'm related to that guy.

Sorry I missed this earlier. Eugene has a great music scene if you love bluegrass, folk, and the Grateful Dead. If you don't absolutely love those three genres, Eugene sucks dirty wet socks.

And I'm almost (completely) done with my Warwick de-fret job... I have a bit of noise on the 3rd fret ranging through most of the strings... But it should be an easy fix.

And I'm really liking the sound of CA glue coated wenge

Call me a heathen if you will... But I can't help de-fret every instrument that I come into contact with.
