Just wondering if there were any other options out there besides american music supply who offer payment plans with NO CREDIT check?? the reason why i need it that way is because me and my wife are in the midst of getting our first house built and during that process you dont want your credit to get hit....but im looking to get more gear but ams is missing alot of brands and gear im interested in...plz help thanks in advance

Does having someone simply run a credit check, affect your credit rating?
Does building a house have a negative impact on your credit rating at a music store?
A bank is trusting you with possibly hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Wouldn't the music store trust you for a couple of grand?
Does buying something at a music store negatively affect a home purchase?
Don't you improve your credit rating by buying stuff on credit and making payments on time?

Checking your credit rating in order to borrow money (as in get a credit card) Does effect your credit rating.

1) Yes, just doing a credit check does effect your credit score.
2) No.
3) Why should they, the bank you owe money to, takes away from your ability to pay the music store.
4) YES, it can.
5) No, not if you're in a dicey situation for the house to begin with.

Many home purchasers, especially first time buyers, are stretching to their limits to get a house. That eases the longer you own the home and after several years things become more comfortable. A bank you are getting a mortgage from has a complete picture of your financial health, if you start screwing around with that picture, oft times the bank will have second thoughts.
