Other than the VT

Hey JMJ!
Hope you're doing well! From what I see here, you're managing to keep busy, so that's atleast a bonus! :D
I wanted to see if you had any experience with the other "character" pedals from Tech21?
I know you're a pretty big fan of the VT, but did you check any of the ones that weren't directly marketed as "bass" pedals?
I'm looking at a couple different models (the Leeds mostly), since they seem to have an interesting character to them (no pun intended). :D
in any case, I was just curious of your opinion!

stay safe:bassist:

i've got a british. i had to have it modded to work for bass, but it really cops a marshall-like tone and kicks ass on bass now. but the folks in the effects forum who have them have said the leeds, the oxford, and the blonde work well on bass without any mods. haven't played them myself but the recordings i've heard of them on bass have been quite good.

I actually got to the shop and tried one out. It's on my board while I'm typing! :D
It sure as heck isn't a vintage Hiwatt, but the sounds are very usable and natural sounding.
So even if they didn't get what they are marketing (if you ask me), they still made a great pedal!
That's what matters anyway, I guess! :D
