I'm also very interested in talking to other female bassists. My dream is to have an all girl band actually.

Not only is the thread six years old, it's an introduction thread and the OP introducing herself was last seen on TB in May of 2009. She's long gone. Everyone looking for fellow female bassists (of which I am not one) should do a search for the "Girl Bass Player Club," which I think is in part 2 currently...
