Our crazy Halloween party

OMG, it was so much fun last night to return to almost a sense of normalcy. We hosted our own Halloween party under an event tent last night at a waterfront resort restaurant. Our all-star band consisted of Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, Ozzy Osbourne and the Grim Reaper.
People were literally losing their minds at being able to dance together. As guests were leaving the restaurant they could see what was going on and many joined in. Some of the costumes were amazing!

Fantastic! Since we also have a cajon instead of drums I love to see another band doing the same thing. We get many questions about how do you get a crowd dancing with that thing and no drums. Very good to see another band pulling it off.

Looks like a really fun gig! Thanks for sharing!

Great to see some validation that it's workable. Do you have other gig reports on here? Or a FB page? I'll have to check them out. Good to meet you all as well!

It's definitely workable. We've had two sides as both a classic rock band with the full drum kit and acoustic gigs with the cajon. However during the pandemic we've used the cajon more and slipped in a lot more of the rock tunes we usually only do with the drums. We are lucky to have an amazing drummer whose hands are apparently made out of titanium

Liked your page, got through some of the videos, good stuff!

Maybe we should start a "bands with a cajon playing upbeat music" club?

Here's our page too....Log into Facebook
