Out with the old, in with the new NAD

My 1978 Kustom 3 bass amp finally up and died on me. Lasted 48 years, which makes it 15 years older than me. It gave me some good years but at only 130 watts, I figured i could get more from a new amp than I could spending money fixing it and boy did I ever. Found a Fender BXR 300c bass amp for just 300 dollars lol how lucky am I? 300 watts of pure bass and it sounds incredible. I can't believe it.

Looks like it's been taken good care of. Anytime you can come out at a dollar a watt is a good thing, and that doesn't include speaker. Nice score!

One of the drummers in one of the bands I play with has one sitting in our practice space but I've never used it cause I always carry my gear.

I remeber those, nice amps. Tried to take the "Pound-per-watt" title from Peavey, but came up just shy.

Early 90s I had a BXR300c with a GK 4x10 on top. It was...more than adequate for my needs LOL.

I used one for several years. Good workhorse amp.

I got mine pretty cheap because the seller heard a lot of buzzing. Turns out he just needed a new battery in his active bass.
