So tomorrow I'll be playing a gig outside it wont require great volume as it is with a not so loud drummer and a volume conscious guitar player and no vocals.
my question is this...
I'm playing a PJ with flats through an ampeg BA115 because I really dig the low end. but outside am I going to get completely lost in the mix even cranked?... I could bring my hartke 410 and my trusty peavey BH400 for a nice clean tone but I really don't want to lug all the gear.
If I would get burried with my warm low end sound I'm also wondering of any EQing tricks that could help me cut a little better without making my sound go completely middy.
any suggestions would be nice including something along the lines of "bring the hartke", but i'd like a reason as well
Thanks!
