Outta The Garage..

A place to post some home grown recordings (probably already a few of these). An original band out of Charleston SC, we had some fun playing free bennies and by the end probably had 35 or so songs over a course of a few years. This one never got mastered but sounds pretty decent considering.

I love it! What was the recording method?

Hey OOD, thanks! I updated the post with some of that recording info, good idea:

2007 Fender Geddy CIJ > Tech 21 BDDI > interface > Reaper

There were just a couple of overdubs. The singer did the high dubbing over his original cut and I believe the guitar solo was punched. Everything else recorded live.

Found another from that same session.

2012 Am Std P > Tech 21 BDDI > interface > Reaper

This is the second take for bass, I'd probably do it one more time. This song evolved over a period of time as they do. Originally, I was locked with the bass drum during the verses but decided it was too much and dropped out on the 2 beat to add space. Kinda let it gel through the measure. Unfortunately, not mastered and this cut has just a bit of distortion.
