I've saved the ball ends when I've made a string change. Originally it was for making jewelry, but that never happened and then I just kept it up. I really don't want to do the math on how much this translates to. Some were from TI flats. I guess it's better than a toe nail collection. Heh. No, I'm not a hoarder.

Some super glue and imagination you can make a small bass player statue / figurine.

I have seen some really cool things made with old brass cases from spent ammo.

Collections like this come from archeological digs and are called a "hoard", but in the landfill you contribute to there will be all kinds of extra puzzles to solve, like WHY would someone hoard these and what are they anyway? That's assuming there is anyone around to do archeology for our culture.

Take the bag out to a local park and nail it to a tree with a note that says something like: "The raven sleeps where mirrors forget. Nineteen strings, one missing. Look for the false door".

Someone will spent the rest of their lives wondering about it.
This is clear the right answer. There can be no others. The jade monkey flies at midnight.
