Overdrive/distortion pedals that will make me stand out!

especially in a recording situation, the ODB shouldn't have been a problem. Many professionals use the ODB-3 in the studio fine.

personally, I use the Bass Big Muff and don't get lost. It all depends on your music, I had to change my settings substantially when I joined my new band. you can dial in the settings to give a little volume boost to make up for the mids.

I've also heard alot about the Digitech Bad Monkey (or modded Badder Monkey) and seems like a very good tubescreamer distortion for bass.

I like the Digitech Bad Monkey for a TS-style overdrive. Fantastic sounding pedal. It may not have enough drive for ya but worth a shot.

The key to all the Digitech pedals is the "mixer out". This is a low-pass output which greatly decreases fizz. They work awesome in bass rigs with tweeters as well !!
