Overdrive pedal - small shops, boutique

Hello guys,

I'm in a hunt for a good overdrive pedal.

Since reading a lot about various fantastic pedals such the Darkglass's one's and such I wanted to taste the waters if there are some small shops, builders making some boutique, handmade overdrive’s. Well od course they are but since me living in Europe I want to know if there are some here .. but I’m open to US (or other countries too)

The alredy mentioned Darkglass and such are (although I like them a lot and respect their work since me owning the Darkglass head) already a "too big" company for me

I want a more "personal" approach and truly a small handmade shop.

Can someone help me with some suggestions ?

As reference, oh yes, I've forgot... it has to work with a passive P bass, I give to songs:

Tritonlab jFet Bass Overdrive. They´re a company from Estonia and they make great pedals.
Also Jam Pedals from Greece or COG from the UK have good options.

I agree, which reminds me that I do exactly that and with two small name boutique builders. I run a Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop as my always on slightly saturated tube amp OD sound, and kick on my 5th gear (which is placed earlier in the chain) when I want more gritty OD.

I bought both pedals used for around $100 each. Worth every cent!

That pedal is ssssooooooo good. Their Locomotive is good too, IMO not as good as the Planet B though.

For Europe the only one I really know is cog effects but love the cog mini 66 so much that it’s now always on!
