OZZFEST 06 THREAD

It's that time of year again, anybody going? Ours is tomarrow and I'm wicked suped to go. Personally, some of the bands I could not stand to hear and am disapointed to even make an appearence IMO (Avenged Sevenfold, Strapping Young Lad, Bad Acid Trip, ect.) but that's when I say **** it and go smoke a joint. But at the same time, I'm dying to see Disturbed, Ozzy, BLS, Dragonforce, All That Remains and Hatebreed so I guess it evens itself out. So, let's hear what you guy think about the bands playing this year, and of course all the other crazy **** that happened and you feel neccessary to post.

I saw almost all the second stage bands on this years ozzfest. They had and off day and the Red Chord, A Life Once Lost, All That Remains, Norma Jean, Full Blown Chaos, Unearth, and Hatebreed all played in a smaller venue in Portland. I'm glad I didn't have to stand in the heat. It was a sick show, I still have a huge bruise on my calf from that show, and it was like almost a month ago

Yeah, to be announced... Hopefully its not sold out, i kind of want to go. I yet have seen Opeth play, really want to.

I saw Opeth in their last date of the North American tour...right after the show I met 3 members of Dark Tranquillity....

The only reason to see Ozzfest last year was for Black Sabbath and Maiden. Everything else is just meh.

I just like Ozzfest so much because bands like Disturbed and Black Label are two bands I've grown up around. Whatever, say what you want.

I know this is an ozzfest thread but....should I join Megadeth's fan club and pay $45.00 for a membership...I read that members will get a code or something to buy Gigantour tickets before they go on sale...

If you want really good seats... it'll be like 45 membership + 80 or so for the tix maybe? If you think it's worth it go ahead... personally I'll wait and get decentish tix for 65 bucks. Hopefully.
