I have an American Pro with Labella 760s. I just replaced the stock pickups with Lindy Fralins and it feels and sounds even better now.

I understand completely. The split P-Bass pickup is nearly perfect in every way. It fits into most genres and never misses a beat.
i dont know about all that, but I did hear that it has been scientifically proven that people who play precision bass live longer than people who don'tIt also makes you rich, handsome, funny & charming!
All the girls loves you and you can stop wars and cure cancer!

I didn’t even own a P bass until I snagged this CV back in August. Gonna tie on some flats and see how it sounds.I totally have the feeling of love everytime I pick up my Pbass. It's only a lowly Squire but honestly the CV 60's P whomps for the price. I love the tone and playability of that bass. I will say though, I get the same feeling everytime I pick up my G & L JB2 and my Modulus Q5 sweet spot. Sounds like we love bass, huh?
IME, IMO, the split-coil precision pickup brings the essence of electric bass tone.I understand completely. The split P-Bass pickup is nearly perfect in every way. It fits into most genres and never misses a beat. I have quite a few basses that have that pickup, they get played more than any others. I have found out one thing with the split P-bass pickups. In my honest opinion the split pickup sounds more "even" when it in the reverse position like in the Spector I have (G/D portion is towards the neck and the E/A portion is towards the bridge).
