P Bass bridge cover over a Badass II?

Does a P bass bridge cover fit over a Badass II bass bridge?

I found some measurements for the bridge and it seems like it would be fine.

Width wise maybe but dont bad asses go right to the back end of the body usually? I'm not sure if it'd cover the bridge fully lengthwise or even fit fully on the body.

i think theyre too far back which is why the MM jazz only comes with a front pickup cover. the position of the screw holes for the covers on fender basses with respect to the screw holes for the bridge is what throws it off.

if you want to drill new holes and mount the cover further back, or if youre doing this on a newer bass without holes for the cover you might be ok, but i dont know if a P cover would be long enough to cover the BAII

Not on my 78 P. I bought a 70's ashtray from a TB'er not too long ago and it won't fit over my BA-II. I like the BA-II too much to swap it for the original just for a cosmetic change though.
