    Hello TBers!
Quick Question: is there a difinitive list somewhere that would show, side by side, all the P Bass models by Fender that feature a nitro or other non-poly finish?
For clarity, i will turn it around and ask another way:

I want a P Bass with a nitro finish. Which ones have that?

    Hope that makes sense.

Any help on this greatly appreciated!

    PEACE!

    Ted

Fender switched from Nitro to poly in '68 for most models. Roadworns, Highway 1, Highway One and CS models are Nitro.

The American Vintage Reissue series are Lacquer finishes.

    Isn't it nitrocellulose lacquer ... i.e. 'nitro' ?

    :bag:

    Just trying to clarify... :)

Yes, but I didn't think he was implying anything to the contrary.

Neither did I... hence the :bag:

I just wanted to make it completely clear that nitro is short for nitro lacquer... I didn't know about it till fairly recently, and thought it was worth stating the (somewhat) obvious... :bag:
