I absolutely prefer the reverse P on a PJ bass...to me it gives the P pickup more cut and a better low end...but not as much mid-range honk as the standard P, but there obviously those who prefer that mid bark with a standard P.

that's my lefty with a reverse-p not a photoshop edit( boy is that pic old, because both basses have been modified and are no longer a mirror copy )

That pickguard looks like it had a leg amputated! I'm guessing that's stock (or a nicely done refinish). It's just weird seeing a p-bass like that...![]()
