Buy a jazz and wire a series/parallel switch on it. Problem solved!
I had a 05 jazz with the S1 switch and a P bass I A/B'd them many times and the jazz although beefier with the switch did not sound anywhere as nice as the P.That switch will beef up the jazz but it's not a P tone to be sure. I actually took that switch out of my jazz bass and put in a stock volume pot. Nothing can duplicate a P not even my Lakland.haha, you guys are the reason why musicians get the bad rep for being dumb...and ********! hahaha![]()
