PA Help

Hey, my band are looking to purchase a PA system around 1000watts, we already have a mixer, just wondered if this looked like a good deal and was any good?

Looks like garbage too me. Inefficient speakers so it won't get loud.

Agreed, not sure if I have ever seen rating that bad for speakers in a long time. Buy used..get better stuff for cheaper.

Check your local Craigslist, look for some used Yamaha Club V, 15 in mains. I have seen them for about $400 a pair. When you get more money then add a second set, or a set of subs. Our band runs 4 of these and 2 mackie 15" subs. We can play indoors or out. I also run a PV500 watt amp for the stage monitors . 4 Yamaha Br12 monitors.

Run Away! It's junk...

Agree with the other posters look for used gear.

QSC RMX Series, Crown XLS and Peavey CS Series are excellent amps and great buys when found used.

JBL M-Pro and EON 1500 discontinued models, Yamaha Club Series and Peavey SP series cabs can be found used for 1/2 of what they are new and are excellent products.

I second the SV15's from Yammie

Anything else will cost double to sound as good as these speakers.
