Don't ask me, I'm not much of a social event organizer. (I'm kinda into that anti-social networking, ya know?)

I've heard it involves everyone playing as loud as possible, all at one time. All different songs tho...
Seriously - it's usually up to the event organizer to at least communicate The Vision.
I'd expect people who can bring an amp & cab or two will. If you can bring a bass, especially if it's something you'd be willing to have someone else try, do that.
I'd expect some kind of food - but it might just be because the event is at a restaurant, or it'll be catered (expect an entry fee...) or maybe a potluck.
Even though all that is highly speculative, anything beyond that falls into the category of sheer conjecture.
Hoping for an update from Mr @ZuluFunk so I can start to make more definite plans...
