Anyone know of anyone in the Florida area, (preferably close to Orlando) that would do finish work on a parts bass that I am thinking about trying to put together?

Someone at Bass Central might know a good place to get that done. You could always do like I did with an SX neck and refinish it yourself with Guitar Re-Ranch supplies. It can actually come out quite good with some work and patience, but it is a bit of a pain to get flawless if you're not very experienced with it, as I found out.
