I think I may have screwed up, I took an old Musicmaster bass and painted it.

If I can get the "new"paint off should I?

Can I get "authentic" Fender paint and just cover up the current paint job?

strip the paint and reshoot it with a Fender color from reranch.com

either way any colectable value is already shot no matter what you do

First off, what kind of paint did you use? How to remove the "screwed up" paint you put on there could vary by the type of paint you used.
