Just got my Terror Bass home and got to play for about 30 min. Wow, wish I had gotten one of these years ago. All my basses sound like I always wanted them too. The head doesn't have an insane amount of adjustment but there isn't a bad setting on the amp. It sounds good period no matter what. P bass can get a nice fat dub and motown tone all the way to a cutting rock tone. My modern basses I built have a hi fi sound still but with the highs taken down just a little like I like with the treble almost maxed. This is also helped by the 2x15 cab that does not have a tweeter.
The EQ flat sounds great. Boost the mids a touch and cut the treble a notch or two and it's a great rock tone.
Now I am wanting a 2x10 or 1x15 cab to go with this head for small gigs.
